...at least for XBox 360. Players have been waiting in anticipation for months for the announcement of a public beta coming to CoD5.
PC users are told that their beta is coming soon, but as of yet, there's no date. Closed Keys will initially be handed out to CoD "VIP" Members, then on to registered accounts, based on their time of registration. Another way of guaranteeing your participation is to pre-order CoD5, although rumours are flying that this only guarantees your spot if you're in the US. No word on whether or not this is true yet. More information can be read here |

Probably the most highly anticipated event to happen to Blizzard's World of Warcraft (since the Burning Crusade expansion) is less than a month from its set release date. Already players are grabbing as much information about the details of the expansion as they can, even going so far as to create a wiki: http://wotlkwiki.info/index.php/Main_Page
But where to start on why this is such a highly anticipated event? Well, to summarise:
- Level cap will be raised from 70 to 80;
- There will be a new profession called "Inscription";
- There is an entire new continent - Northrend;
- For the first time, there will be destructible buildings;
- Characters' features will be changeable in game;
- New monsters and, more importantly, dungeons filled with epics; and
- Probably the most exciting development - the Death Knight.

Running Linux servers at time has its faults, and this was one of them. The Paintball Mod for COD4 was released a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately there was no Linux support until just recently. However, that is now resolved and we are running a 32 slot Paintball Mod Server!!
See the server list page for the IP details and head on in for some fun! |
